This beer has a classic Saison profile, with an earthy funk and notes of spice. As part of our Just MI Beer Series, this beer was brewed with local malts from Great Lakes Malting Company, featuring barley and oats from the Traverse City region. We were also fortunate to use local hops from Hickory Creek Hop Yard and Hop Head Farms. The true joy for us has been to use yeast isolated from the Keweenaw Peninsula in Michigan, granting this beer a truly authentic Michigan Saison profile.
