When we released the Watchman earlier this year, we said this was a story in two parts. We meant it.
Release No. 2 is called Landfall, and if you know anything about maritime history, you know that word carries weight. It’s the moment after the long crossing. The moment the shore stops being a hope and starts being a fact. Relief and reckoning, all at once. We built this bourbon to live in that moment.
Like the Watchman before it, Landfall is sourced from exceptional single-barrel bourbon aged eight years, and blended by our team here at Round Barn. The blend is where our craft lives. The sourcing is where our standards show. We don’t put our name on something we don’t believe in.
Landfall features bourbon aged a minimum of 6 years and hand-blended by Round Barn's distillery expert team. Each of the 800 hand-numbered bottles is released at full barrel strength, uncut and unfiltered.
The series draws on Southwest Michigan's rich lighthouse history, with each of the two releases named for a figure or concept from that tradition. Round Barn sources its Lighthouse Series bourbon from producers with decades of craft behind them, applying its own blending expertise to create expressions that bear the distillery's distinct signature.
